Things to Do on a Budget in Monmouth & Ocean Counties this April 2025

The old saying goes that April showers bring May flowers. Hopefully April includes more sunny days than rainy, so you can enjoy these budget-friendly activities in Monmouth and Ocean Counties with your family and friends!

April 5

Easter in the Park (Howell) – Join Howell Township in celebrating Easter from 11am-2pm at Oak Glen Park. The kiddos can enjoy music mixed by DJ Jeff as they get their faces painted, visit the petting zoo, hop on some rides, and meet the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget to equip your youngsters with baskets, as there will be Easter egg hunts arranged by age for those 10 and younger. The event is free for all to attend. Town Wide Garage Sale (Hazlet) – Hidden treasures await you in the town wide garage sale in Hazlet, taking place from 9am-4pm. With the number of residents hosting garage sales at 60 and counting, you will be sure to find something you love. In supporting local sellers, you will find discounted items – which keeps more money in your pocket and more items out of landfills. What better way to celebrate Earth Day early? There is no fee to buy or sell items, but sellers must fill out a form with the town to be listed on the interactive Google Map of the addresses residents can visit. April 6

Yoga at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge (Forked River) – Unroll your yoga mat and experience the serenity of the outdoors at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge at 9am. A yoga instructor will guide you through a one-hour yoga session meant for all experience levels, incorporating the serene outdoors and peaceful sounds of the rescue animals. After the session concludes, you can explore the zoo and meet some of those friendly rescue faces. Admission is $20 and includes the yoga session and access to the zoo. April 10

Tea, Scones, and Easter Egg Hunt (Toms River) – If your little one has ever dreamed of having a tea party with the Easter Bunny, head over to the Mathis House from 6:30pm-8pm. Tea will be served with an array of flavors, as well as scones and desserts to choose from. The Easter Bunny will hang out with your little ones as they take part in an egg-citing Easter egg hunt. April 11

Spring Disco and Night Market (Asbury Park) – If you’ve been looking to time-travel back to the 70s but never knew how, head down to Convention Hall in Asbury Park from 6pm-11pm. This night out promises to be full of groovy tunes, include life-size versions of your favorite games, and have Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. There will also be items for purchase by the best local makers. The event is for those 21+, allowing all attendees to explore any of the multiple on-site bars. April 12

Spring Craft Show (Tinton Falls) – Coming up soon will be Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduation and wedding season – you’ll have a chance to shop for any of these spring events at Fort Monmouth Recreation Center from 9am-2pm. Over 40 local artisans will be selling home décor, jewelry, pottery and ceramics, and countless other handcrafted items perfect for gift-giving to others (or yourself). Spring Into Popcorn Park (Forked River) – Bring your friends and family down to Popcorn Park for a day full of fun for the whole family from 9am-2pm. The event kicks off with an Easter egg hunt, with each child permitted to find and keep up to 10 eggs. No basket? No problem – there will be bags available for youngsters to decorate and use in the egg hunt. The rest of the day promises photos with the Easter Bunny and live enrichment demonstrations at the Education Center, giving attendees a chance to meet a few of Popcorn Park’s special rescues. April 19

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny (Brick) – Hop on over to the Laurelton Fire Company for breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8am-11am. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door for those ages 2 and above – and includes a delicious pancake breakfast, approved by none other than the Easter Bunny himself! April 25

Chef’s Night Out (Toms River) – Competition brings out the best in the innkeeper of the Mathis House, so come sample specialty tapas plates that won’t disappoint – beginning at 7pm. From tea sandwiches to appetizers – you name it, it will be there. Each attendee will receive a grading sheet to score and provide feedback on each tapas plate, eventually crowning the best of the night. There will be live music, and the event is BYOB for those 21+. April 26

Earth Day Park Beautification (Middletown) – Take spring cleaning from your home to the Murray Farmhouse Garden at Poricy Park from 9am-11am. With the garden looking for a complete refurbish, the event boasts to be the perfect community service opportunity – especially for those not afraid to get their hands a little dirty. Highlands Fire Department Food Truck Event – Support the Highlands Fire Department and stop by their food truck and vendor event from 12pm-5pm. There will be street foods from all over New Jersey, a pop-up market displaying unique items, activities for little ones, a 50/50 raffle, and a beverage garden for attendees 21+ to enjoy. Spring Kick Off Car & Truck Show (Lacey) – “Cruise” into the weekend with a car and truck show at Lacey High School from 9am-2pm. You’re in luck – there are plenty of free and inexpensive activities in Monmouth and Ocean Counties to enjoy with your family and friends all month long! We hope March begins to warm up and you can get outside to enjoy these first happenings of spring.

March 1

Downtown Irish Festival (Toms River) – Join Downtown Toms River in celebrating Irish culture from 12pm-6pm on Washington Street. Live entertainment will be provided by The Ryan Express, along with a live bagpipes and drums performance – all of which will introduce you to the sounds of Ireland as you check out local vendors, businesses, and Irish fare. March 2

Belmar’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Get your green on at the Belmar’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, kicking off at 12:30pm on Main Street. A staple of the Belmar community, this tradition features a lively march with vibrant floats, live pipes & drums bands, and thousands of marchers. Spectating is fun and is no cost. March 8

St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Seaside Heights) – If you haven’t been able to enjoy the Irish cheer yet this month, join Seaside Heights for their St. Patrick’s Day parade beginning at 12pm on the Boulevard. Various local businesses, teams, and community members will march alongside a float displaying Irish heritage. More information about the parade can be found here. And you’re in luck – to add to the fun, Casino Pier will be selling $30 Arcade Cards for $15, and will have various food and drink specials between 1pm-5pm. March 9

Belmar Dine & Discover will take you, your tastebuds, and the foodies in your life on a tour of Belmar’s beloved dining establishments from 11:30am-3:30pm, beginning at the Belmar Municipal Building. Participating restaurants will open their doors and offer samples of their various creations – everything ranging from Louisiana-inspired Cajun, to sushi that will make you feel like you are right in Japan. Wristbands are $35 in advance and $40 at the door, and can be picked up at select times during the weekend of the event. Trolleys will be running to take you around town every twenty minutes, so leave your transportation worries (but not your appetite) at home. Comic Book & Toy Show (New Egypt) – Whether you’re hunting for a rare collectible or looking to interact with other comic enthusiasts, come down to New Egypt Elks #2457 from 10am-4pm for a day full of nostalgia. If the promise of exciting collectibles, vintage action figures, and modern toys isn’t enticing enough – the first 100 admissions will receive a free comic pack, and additional door prizes will be given out at random throughout the day. March 12

Flavor of Freehold will transport your tastebuds to Ireland from 5pm-8pm on March 12th and 13th. Equipped with a “Shamrock Passport,” this two-day event allows participants to sample some of the Irish flavors of Freehold’s favorite establishments. March 15

Giant Bubble Show (Holmdel) – We know you’re curious at how giant a bubble can be, and we’re sure your friends and family are too, so head down to Bell Works Theater at 12pm or 3pm to see just that. Ringling Brothers’ alumnus Logan Jimenez will bring together circus stunts and artistic ability to create a jaw-dropping bubble show. Ticket prices are $30 and include a facility fee. Spring Fling Sip & Shop (Toms River) – “Spring” into the season at the Spring Fling Sip and Shop Vendor Market from 12pm-4pm at Garden State Distillery. You will have the chance to support local makers, artisans, and small businesses while enjoying craft drinks for those 21 and older. There will be various unique items for all to explore, including jewelry, candles, clothing, beauty products, décor, and more. Admission is free for all ages. March 22

Maple Festival (Manalapan) – Bring your friends and family to Happy Day Farm to learn how tapping trees and boiling sap turns into a pancake’s best friend – maple syrup. Visitors will embark on a tractor ride of the 130-acre farm, followed by an inside look into the process of making maple syrup and an opportunity to give tapping a try. Visitors will be able to purchase pancakes and maple syrup as well. Tickets are $18 for adults and children ages 2 and up, and must be purchased with cash. March 23

Beyond the Counter – Adult Craft Workshop & Tea Tasting (Wall) – Your parents or grandparents might have given you tea as a remedy for any and everything, and the Historic Village at Allaire will explore their reasoning at a tea tasting from 2pm-4pm. Visitors will explore the health and wellness benefits of various teas and herbal infusions as they were seen in the 19th century through today. You will have the opportunity to taste teas and take samples of your favorite concoctions home. Tickets are $25 per person, pre-registration is required, and the event is for adults only. March 30

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny (Barnegat) – The Easter bunny is hopping over to Lefty’s Tavern for a special breakfast from 8am-10am. Breakfast is $15 per plate, and all proceeds will go toward developing Barnegat Little League’s team and complex. Seats must be reserved in advance. The last seating is at 9:30am. February 1

Winter Fire & Ice Celebration (Cream Ridge) will take place at the New Egypt Flea Market on February 1st from 10am-7pm and February 2nd from 8am-4pm. You can enjoy ice sculptures and demonstrations, cozy fire pits, food trucks and wine tastings (for attendees 21+), local vendors, and more. Galentine’s Brunch Event (Point Pleasant Beach) will be hosted by Blooms on Point Floral Boutique from 12pm to 2pm. Along with gushing over your “galentines,” you will have access to a breakfast buffet and charcuterie board, mimosa bar (BYO bubbly), custom box of assorted chocolates, and a 10-minute chair massage or reiki session. Valentine’s Sweet Stroll (Red Bank) is just what the name suggests—an afternoon of walking downtown Red Bank to shop for sweet treats and other vendor items, and enjoy “sweet” experiences, from 11am-2pm. All About Kids Fair (Toms River) – If you’re looking to help the whole family escape the winter blues, join Toms River Macaroni Kids for their 9th annual fair at Ocean County Mall from 11am-2pm. Parents can meet the faces of local family-friendly businesses while the children are off enjoying activities such as face painting, crafts, character appearances, and more. Historic Valentines (Allentown) – Travel back in time at Historic Walnford from 1pm-3pm to discover how penmanship has changed through letters and valentines from the 18th and 19th centuries. In case any of the centuries-old penmanship inspired you, the session will end with creating a valentine or letter of your own using historically-inspired materials. MAC’s Art of Chili Cook Off (Middletown) – Whether you love chili or love some good ol’ friendly competition, check out the Chili Cook Off at Middletown Arts Center from 12pm-2pm. The fifteen amateur and five restaurant contestants will prepare chili and battle it out for first, second, and third place prizes. Singo Game Night (Manahawkin) – Unleash your inner “theater kid” at the Bay Avenue Community Center at 5pm. Polar Bear Plunge (Seaside Heights) – If you’re not afraid to jump into the frigid waters of the Atlantic in the spirit of supporting the Special Olympics of New Jersey, register for the Annual Polar Bear Plunge. Registration is $25 with different fundraising tiers; however, your $25 registration fee is counted toward your fundraising goal. If plunging isn’t your speed, you can dress up, join other spectators on the boardwalk, and cheer the plungers on. Family Fun Friday (Point Pleasant Beach) – When the workday is over, let the fun start at Jenkinson’s Aquarium from 5pm to 8pm. Enjoy family fun with a scavenger hunt, crafts, and a bedtime story with one of Jenkinson’s beloved animals. These activities are included in a general admission ticket, so you can visit Jenkinson’s aquatic friends between activities. LuminoCity Holiday Lights Festival (Freehold) – If you’re looking for a last-minute way to enjoy the end of the holiday season, LuminoCity’s Holiday Lights Festival will be at Freehold Raceway Mall from 4:30pm-10:30pm through January 5th. As the sun sets, you can walk through a whimsical holiday light display inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Ticket prices vary by date and time slot, along with age group of the participant. January 5

Fun Bags Cornhole Goes Country (Toms River) – Bring your friends and family down to Fun Bags Cornhole Lounge for a night of cornhole and line dancing from 6pm-9pm. Beginners are welcome, with beginner line dancing lessons starting at 6pm. Tickets are $12 per person in advance of the event, and $13 per person at the door. Winter Hootenanny in the Pines (Waretown) – Albert Music Hall will be welcoming the new year in a musical fashion beginning at 2pm. The full moon will light up the park as you sit around the bonfire playing games and making s’mores. Monmouth Park Corporate Center Pop-Up (West Long Branch) – Whether you’re looking to get out of the office or explore what local vendors have to offer, Building A at the Monmouth Park Corporate Center transforms into a bustling market the third Thursday of every month from 11am-4pm. With a variety of vendors selling everything from sweet treats to housewarming gifts, and free admission – you can’t go wrong. You can find more information here.

January 18

Ladacin Plunge (Manasquan) – If you missed an opportunity to welcome in the new year by plunging into frigid waters, you have another chance at Ladacin’s Plunge – beginning at 10:30am. Starting at Leggett’s Sand Bar & Restaurant, there will be a procession to Manasquan Main Beach and a plunge into the icy cold waters of the Atlantic, followed by a buffet at Leggett’s. Penguin Awareness Day at Jenkinson’s Aquarium (Point Pleasant Beach) is a day dedicated to celebrating the world’s penguins. Between 11am-4pm, your general admission ticket includes crafts, activities, and keeper chats that will teach you about all the 18 species of penguins. Friday Night Oldies (New Egypt) – If you’re looking to get groovy on a Friday night, look no further than Oldies Night at Laurita Winery from 7pm-10pm. The Strictly 60s Band will take you on a trip down memory lane with sounds of the 60s, and you can enjoy the tunes over dinner and wine (for those over 21 years of age). Showcase @ The Hotel: Dance Party (Freehold) – Bring the dancer in your life to the American Hotel for a night of dancing from 7:30pm-10:30pm. This fundraiser benefits Downtown Freehold directly to keep the town beautiful and bring members of the community together through free events. Pre-sale standard tickets are $25 per person with a two-item purchase, and pre-sale VIP tickets are $35 per person with a two-item purchase. We can’t think of anything more jolly than free or inexpensive family activities happening in the community this holiday season. Although the temperatures might be dropping, grab your friends and family (and winter coats) to enjoy the countless festive events throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties this December.

December 3

Tree Lighting (Freehold) – Stop by the Annual Christmas Tree lighting at the Hall of Records from 5pm-7pm, with a rain date of Wednesday, December 4th. Not only will there be a free choir performance and hot cider, but the Freehold Fire Department may stop by with a very special holiday guest! Additional information can be found here.

The Village at Anne Ellen (Manalapan) – Every Wednesday to Sunday through December 30th, Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm is creating a magical and enchanting winter wonderland between 5pm-9pm. A nostalgic hayride through Anne Ellen’s Christmas tree fields will captivate you with a 400,000 holiday light show and conclude by dropping you off at a bustling holiday village with houses and displays. Various shops among the quaint village offer you the chance to wrap up some of your holiday shopping, too! Tickets are $22 per adult and $12 per child ages 3-12 and can only be purchased online. December 5

Festival of Trees (Toms River) – Toms River Elks #1875 is welcoming everyone to a gala-style display of beautifully decorated trees and holiday decor from 5pm-9pm. As you walk through the display of trees and Dr. Seuss inspired decorations, you can enjoy the S’mores Bar, light fare and beverages, children’s activities, and a live performance by the Toms River Orchestra. December 6

Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar will take place every weekend (12pm-5pm), including Fridays (3pm-8pm), at Convention Hall and Asbury Park Hotel (select dates) through December 22nd. Consistently rated as one of the best holiday markets in New Jersey, this bazaar will feature handcrafted goods and unique holiday gifts made by vendors from far and wide. Seaport Holiday Boat Rides (Tuckerton) – Tuckerton Seaport is spreading holiday cheer with one-hour long narrated boat tours on various days through December 21st. Your admission includes holiday displays, make and take craft areas, an outdoor reindeer scavenger hunt, and more. Holiday Fun with Santa (Neptune) – Stop by the Summerfield Elementary School cafeteria between 10:30am-12pm to enjoy holiday fun with a special guest from the North Pole. December 8

Barnyard Celebration (Howell) – Grab your friends and family for a magical afternoon of celebrating Christmas at Liberty Haven Farm from 1pm-4pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $15 for children, with all proceeds benefiting special causes, including providing for their farm animals. Included in admission are pictures with Santa, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, family-friendly games, and donut decorating. Christmas at Allaire (Wall) – On December 8th and 15th from 11am-4pm, join the Historical Village at Allaire for a day of family fun. Arriving at the Historical Village promises to be like stepping into the North Pole—from visits with Santa to stepping back in time to celebrate among live carolers, you are sure to get in the holiday spirit. Tickets are $10 for those ages 2 and older, and includes a visit with Santa, crafts, games, admission to all buildings on site, and more. Holiday Market (Howell) – Visit Echo Lake Park from 10am-2pm for a shopping experience that promises to bring you some holiday cheer! This holiday market is bringing together a variety of local vendors, giving you the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind gifts for anyone on your “nice list.” Additional information can be found here.

December 12

Old Fashioned Christmas (Wall) – Allaire Community Farm is turning their farm into a life-sized seasonal village once again, and you can visit Thursdays-Sundays from 4pm-8pm through December 29th. Sporting thousands of holiday lights, visits with Santa, a Model Train House, petting zoos, and more—you’ll truly feel like you are at the North Pole. December 15

Pine Barren Bonfires (Freehold) – Warm up around a bonfire at Turkey Swamp Park from 6-8pm. The park will be lit up by a full moon as you enjoy games and s’mores around the fire. Admission costs $15 per family of four and can be paid with cash or check, and those under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You can find additional information here.

Holiday Evening Stroll (Wall) – Use one of your last chances to get into the holiday spirit by taking a stroll at the Historic Village at Allaire between 6-9pm. Aside from a tree lighting at 7pm, you can wander through the Allaire Village paths to view the lit-up exteriors of their various historic buildings. Additionally, the Allaire Bakery and General Store will be open in case you’re looking for some odds and ends to tie up your holiday shopping. December 22

Brunch with Santa (Freehold) will take place at the American Hotel from 10am-3pm. Santa will be making a guest appearance, so be sure to bring your wish lists and an empty stomach to enjoy the various brunch specialties. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (732) 431-3220.

December 26

Menorah Lighting (Howell) – The Howell Municipal Building will have a Menorah Lighting beginning at 5:30pm. In addition to lighting the Menorah, there will be free hot drinks and pastries for all who attend. Additional information can be found here.

Christmas Train Village (Spring Lake) – Come down to Duggan Hall on Washington Avenue from 12pm-5pm through December 31st to view the holiday train display. The holiday train display encapsulates the holiday spirit, and with admission being free-of-charge—you won’t find a more inexpensive way to stay merry this month! You can find more information here.

Twilight Fun Run/Walk & Party (Manasquan) – Think about your New Year’s Resolutions for 2025 over a fun 2.5 mile run or walk, starting at Leggett’s Sand Bar at 4pm. This event promises to help you start the New Year on a good “foot,” with a buffet and party with all participants afterward. The Twilight Fun Run costs $35 per runner/walker, or $20 for those just looking to join in on the fun at the Twilight Party afterwards. Registration and additional information can be found here.

Although your Thanksgiving feast is around the corner, we want you to feast your eyes on these free or inexpensive activities to enjoy with your family and friends this November. We hope this list gives you some ways to spice up the month amidst all the holiday preparation!

November 1

Legends & Lore Boat Tour (Tuckerton) – If you haven’t quite been spooked this Halloween, you have another chance by visiting Tuckerton Seaport for a Halloween-themed, family-friendly boat ride along Tuckerton Creek starting at 4pm. Admission is $16 per person, and includes a narrated boat tour of hauntings and legends of the Jersey Shore and Pinelands, admission to the museum buildings (including climbing the lighthouse), crafts in the Folklife Center, a pumpkin decoration station, and more. With all these activities, you won’t want to miss it—and you have opportunities all weekend long through November 3rd at 5pm. November 2

Fall Fest & Fishing Tournament (Manahawkin) – Join the Maximilian Foundation at Manahawkin Elks Lodge #2340 from 12pm-6pm for their 8th annual Fall Fest & Fishing Tournament. Enjoy the crisp autumn air with your loved ones by checking out craft vendors, local bands, a magician act, a bouncy house for little ones, and more! Hoofy’s Fall Fest (Barnegat) will be held in the field adjacent to the Barnegat Volunteer Fire Company Station 11 from 11am-7pm, with a rain date of Sunday, November 3rd. There are countless family friendly activities to enjoy – such as a cornhole tournament, children’s inflatables, live music, food trucks, and more. Admission is $10 per person. Jersey Devil Show (Waretown) – To celebrate New Jersey’s favorite urban legend, Albert Music Hall is hosting a night of haunting music, with doors opening at 5pm and performers taking the stage at 6pm. Five different bands and performers headline the evening, and the venue is selling dinner, desserts, and beverages to enjoy between sets. Admission is $6 per person, and $1 for children 12 and under. Soup and Sip (Colts Neck) – Join 4JG Orchards & Vineyards from 12pm-5pm for their 4th annual Soup and Sip, where guests (ages 21+) are treated to soup and wine pairings. November 8

First Responders’ Teddy Bear Clinic (Hazlet) – Local first responders are hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic from 4:30pm-5:30pm at the James J. Cullen Center, giving your little one the chance to bring their teddy bear in for a check-up and become comfortable with first responders should an emergency ever occur. Attendees will learn about different local first responders and basic first aid procedures, as your child’s teddy bear undergoes them! Click here to learn more.

Jersey Shore Restaurant Week runs from Friday, November 8th through Sunday, November 17th, and features more Jersey Shore fan-favorites than ever before. For $32.24 or $42.24, you can get a 3-course meal consisting of an appetizer, dinner, and dessert at participating restaurants. November 9

Fall Craft Show (Tinton Falls) – Head over to the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center from 9am-2pm to check out specialty items, such as jewelry, crocheted/knitted items, and glassware – from over 40 unique vendors. Admission is free, so bring the whole family along to find unique gifts or get gift-giving inspiration just in time for the holidays! You can find additional information here.

Holiday Craft & Vendor Show (Wall) – The Historic Village at Allaire is hosting over 140 crafters, artisans, exhibits, and demonstrations from 10am-3pm to bring the holiday spirit to town! You will get a chance to see the work of local artists, as well as watch demonstrations from the carpenter, blacksmith, and tinsmith shops—to name a few. Admission is $5 for those 6 years old and up. November 10

Family Candy Bingo (Hazlet) will take place from 2pm-4pm at the James J. Cullen Center. Bring the whole family to maximize your chances of winning Bingo—and the candy prizes that come along with it! If you would like to increase the pot, bring some candy to turn in when you buy your bingo boards. Registration is required, and there is a fee of $3 for those 4 years old and older. Hot Rod Harvest Festival and Car & Truck Show (Lacey) – Stop by Murray Grove with your family, friends, and furry friends from 9am-3pm to check out unique cars and fall activities. This event promises to be fun for the whole family with a wide array of cars old and new, a DJ/live music, vendors, and a competition to show off your pets for a chance to win a special award! November 16

Outrageous Reptiles (Belmar) – The Belmar Public Library is calling all animal lovers to Taylor Pavilion at 11am for a morning of learning about various reptiles, with an opportunity to see some them in person! Knowledgeable keepers will be present to teach you about some of the most fascinating reptiles in the animal kingdom and answer some of your most pressing questions. Admission is free, however, registration is required to attend. It is important to note that attendees will not be able to directly interact with the reptiles for the safety of themselves and the animals. Rock to Fight Alzheimer’s (Neptune City) – Head over to Headliner Oasis from 1:30pm-6pm for an afternoon of rocking out while bringing awareness and raising funds to combat Alzheimer’s. Your $20 ticket includes an opportunity to see all four bands headlining the event. There will also be a 50/50 cash raffle, gift basket raffle, and door prizes. November 17

5K Turkey Trot & 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk (Howell) – Bring your family and friends down to Oak Glen Park for a morning of walking or running through the crisp autumn air, with race day check-in starting at 8am and the race kicking off at 9am. Pre-registration is required to participate in the 5K or 2 mile fun run/walk and costs $25/participant. The 5K course is trail-style. You can find additional information here.

November 23

Give Thanks Food Truck Festival (New Egypt) – Laurita Winery is welcoming family and friends of all ages to check out their grounds and food trucks on Saturday, November 23rd (11am-9pm) and Sunday, November 24th (11am-7pm). Adults (ages 21+) can pair delicious wines with various food offerings from the food trucks that will be onsite. Those under 21 are welcome to enjoy the food and music, but must be supervised by an adult. Tickets purchased in advance are $13, with tickets being $15 at the gate. Granny’s Attic Craft Show (Middletown) is returning for its 43rd year at Thompson Middle School from 9am-4pm. Boasting as one of the largest craft shows on the East Coast, Granny’s Attic brings together over 250 vendors and crafters selling unique items, right in time for the holidays. By attending, you can also participate in a 50/50 raffle and a $1,000 Visa gift card raffle. Harvest Fest (Lacey) will take place at the Lacey United Methodist Church from 9am-2pm, featuring holiday photos with Santa from 10am-1pm. Victorian Holiday Open House with Santa & Mrs. Claus (Toms River) – Get in the holiday spirit with your loved ones by meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Ocean County Historical Society from 10am-3pm, with pictures with our friends from the North Pole taking place from 11am-2pm. The Victorian style house will be complete with holiday decorations and music playing within, holiday-themed refreshments, and gifts for the children attending.
